Industrial Electrician at Outokumpu in Degerfors

About the position

We at Outokumpu in Degerfors are looking for an electrician to join our electrical maintenance team. In this role, you will work in a dynamic environment where safety is always the top priority. You will closely collaborate with mechanics and automation technicians to handle urgent machine breakdowns as well as plan and perform preventive maintenance.

As an electrician with us, you will have the opportunity to work with advanced technology and challenging tasks that develop both your skills and technical understanding. The role also includes administration, supplier contacts, and independent planning of your workday, which provides flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of our processes.

The position is full-time and involves daytime work.

Your tasks

• Troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of Outokumpu's electrical equipment

• Development of electrical maintenance to ensure a reliable production facility

• Active participation in the company's safety work to create a safe working environment

• Contribute to improvement work both individually and in teams

• Contribute to investment and renovation projects.

• Use of our maintenance system Maximo

• Provide support as needed during emergency shifts and in the lifting group

Your profile

• Secondary education in electrical, industrial, automation or equivalent

• Structured and responsible with a strong drive

• Proactive and solution-oriented

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Good computer skills and merit with good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

• Merit with experience in troubleshooting, crane license, PLC knowledge, or process understanding in furnace technology

• Merit with experience working with maintenance and maintenance systems for machinery and electrical systems.
